Program Exited with Status Code 128
We are running our Oracle Applications on a Windows 2003 R2 Service Pak 2 server. We are getting the error status 128 message when attempting to run the Oracle provided MPS or MRP programs. The error occurs in the Loader Worker program which is processing .DAT files created in earlirer steps of the MPS run. From discussions with Oracle, this program uses SQL Loader to process the files. This occurs in our PATCh and DEVELOPMENT systems but not in our PRODUCTION system. At the same time if a new SQL Loader program created by the IT staff, it returns the same error if there are coding errors. But if we run the same program in the PRODUCTION system it returns the actual syntax errors. We've worked with Oracle on this for 2 weeks and the only thing they came up with was to apply Microsoft Hot Fix 974509. We are worried about this problem getting into our PRODUCTION system. What else can cause this status code 128 error?
