Search for files from crawled fileshare in our multi-tenant (hnsc) Sharepoint 2013 farm generates no search-results.

Crawling fileshares goes fine, no errors in the log.

When doing the same crawl and search on our "single-tenant" test-installation - it works fine, providing results as expected.

Could it be that the search only shows results based on Subscription ID, but the fileshare-crawl (as it is supposed to) just indexes the NTFS-permissions?

Has anyone got a multi-tenant farm up and running with working fileshare-search?

I have this same question.

We are authenticating users through Active Directory. I have crawled a fileshare location and can see the crawler found the documents. Users who have permission to the files in this location cannot find them using SharePoint search.

We were unable to get this solved.

Had a partner-case opened with Microsoft, but ended with closing with no solution. 

Might have been a different outcome if we had a support agreement.
