Problems after installing Server 2003 SP2
We have a Server 2003 x64 machine, after installing SP2 the following Windows components doesn't work:
Help and Support
Windows Search
Reinstalling the help and support service doesn't fix the problem (http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2007/03/20/help-and-support-service-missing-after-installing-windows-2003-service-pack-2.aspx)
Any ideas?

Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe Navigate to the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
In the right-pane, create a new REG_DWORD value named NoStartMenuHelp
Double-click NoStartMenuHelp and set it's value to from 1 to 0

for search see this
To use the group policy editor, do the following:
Go to Start –> Run –> gpedit.msc
The group policy editor will open. Now go to the following key:
User Configuration –> Administrative templates –> Start Menu and Task Bar
In the right hand pane, select “Remove Search menu from Start menu”
Most probably it will be set to enabled. Just disable it once, click
Apply and then select “Not Configured” and again click Apply. OK.http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin

Download 2003admsetup.msi and install. Check PATH environmental variable value. If ok try running
gpedit.msc
