Problem with WebDav mini-driver
Hi,
We are running a Windows Server 2008 R2 on which users access Sharepoint folders through WebDav which are mounted as network drives.
Everything works well for some time and then the drives become unaccessible. We found out that it is the WebDav mini-driver which, associated with the network "Automatically Detect Settings" option, makes the system freeze but still active. But with the
Webdav mounting becoming unresponsive, the system can not be rebooted unless reseted.
Is there a way to "restart" the Webdav mini-driver?

Hi Antoine, have you installed the following update:
Software Update for Web Folders (KB907306)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=17c36612-632e-4c04-9382-987622ed1d64&displaylang=en
(Note: the installation completes on my Windows Server 2008 R2 computer though it is not listed in supported OS.)
Hope this helps! Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Hi,
I've seen this update but since it is much older than anything contained in W2K8 R2, I assumed that it wa already included.
And as the machines where we're having problems are production machines, I don't think that my sys op will love your solution ;-)
Thanks anyway!
