Problem with AD access on Powershell 3.0

I'm trying to use some of the AD commands in powershell, and just started getting the following error:

Just this morning it was working fine, the DCs are Win 2003 with all the latest patches, the workstation is Win 7 with all the latest patches, and I'm able to access AD Users and Computers from the workstation with no issues. I've installed the appropriate "patches" (KB968934 and KB 969429) - in fact they were installed on one of our DCs before my issue even happened.

I've also tried unjoining and re-joining my computer from the domain, still having this problem.

So I installed and registered the Quest AD tools, and they work fine, access AD from Powershell with no problems, yet the built in AD stuff does not work.

Strange.

Make sure you try repairing WMF 3.0 first, the re-image point should be last resort (I was trying to toss in a bit of humor to lighten things up).
