May I ask that what's the specific error message do you get when logon with the new account?

What's the event log in event view?

What's the environment, domain or workgroup?  Is the account domain account or local account?

Could you please also create another new account and reboot to have a test?

And since it is a server, could you please also check whether the account has the permission to logon to the server?
