Problem on RAID in windows 2008 R2
Hi Guy, I have installed a gigabyte GA965P-S3 motherboard in my server and have plugged 2x SATA2 2TB Seagate HDD and want to configure them as RAID0. Here is what I have done: 1- Configured the Bios options according to the motherboard manual. 2- Configured the motherboard raid options by default for raid 0. 3- Installed windows server 2008 R2. 4- When I go disk management, it doesn't let me to create 1 partition with 3TB capacity.(windows just recognizes about 2 TB of disks) I realized my disk is being shown as disk0 and basic. the disk type is probably MBR. is that the reason which doesn't let me to create 3 TB volume? As the OS is installed on disk0, how can convert it to GPT? it's so urgent for me, I would appreciate your help. Thanks and regards, Bahman
