Problem Upgrading SQL Database Web or Business Databases to New Service Tiers

Hi

Using IE 11 on Windows 10, I follow the instructions at this page:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/sql-database-service-tier-advisor/

I get as far as Step 4 "In the SQL databases blade, click the database that you want the service to analyze."

Step 5 "On the database blade, select the Pricing tier tile." shows an example of an image of a tile that I should be able to view.

However, below is what I see. How can I proceed to Upgrade my SQL Database?

Many thanks in advance, Mark.

Hello Mark,

You can upgrade by either changing the pricing tier for the DB (just scroll down a little bit below the Monitoring information there is a button to get to the pricing tiers) or you upgrade the whole server to the latest service update V12. For that please follow the steps documented here:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/sql-database-v12-upgrade/

Hope that help,
