Since installing Windows 10 my printer does not work. The printer is an HP ENVY 4500. When I try to print a file the computer says "NO PRINTER INSTALLED". I have tried reinstalling the printer software, uninstalling then reinstalling the HP driver software. When I go the printer information I can get printouts with no problem, so the driver is installed correctly, but the Windows 10 does not recognize the printer is installed, and keeps saying "NO PRINTER INSTALLED".

For error "NO PRINTER INSTALLED", you may check from the following possible cause.

There is no default printer driver installed
A printer driver is damaged and requires reinstallation
The Win.ini file has incorrect, duplicate, or missing entries
The Win.ini file is damaged, or there are other problems with the file

But according to your description, the error happens only in Win 10.

So I suggest that you could post in Win 10 Fourm or HP printer Forum to check if  there's some version problem.
