When limiting users for printing, the general practice is to share more than one printer for each group, then assign permissions to each printer accordingly. Even though there is only one print device, you can create and share more than one printer for that same device. For instance you can have a printer called Clerks and another one called Managers. You can then be more restrictive on the clerks defined printer, than that of the managers. Maybe you want to make sure that when a manager prints, the job has the highest priority. So, on and so on. With regard to limiiting the number of pages, I have not heard of any option like that. Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.

Hello, never heard about an option to limit users in printing specific parts of documents or a specific amount of pages. Therefore maybe some printer device vendors have options.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

The thing which you are using is called printing quota which is not really natively supported by windows 2008 R2 to implement this you will have to install a third party application like papercut http://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/PrintQuotahttp://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin
