Preview to Release

I'm currently using WSE 2012 R2 Preview.  When the regular version is released will I have to do a complete new install or will I be able to just upgrade with the new key that comes with the license?

Also, if it's no big secret when will WSE 2012 R2 be released, and how much will it cost?

A new install will be required. I have not seen pricing on essentials made public yet.
