Power Management on Server 2008
I was wondering about power management on server 2008 ACPI is what everyone uses these days, unless you have a real museum piece. I was curious if the server can go to ultra low power and save on electric bills when its not busy My MVP is for the Windows Desktop Experience, i.e. Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 IT Remote Assistance is available for a fee. I am using the Power Saver profile from the control panel choices. I am hoping that will keep operating costs down.
