Portal Alternative

Someone know an alternative of SCSM portal ? We like Service Manager 2012 but the portal is very poor and the display with Sylverlight do not function correctly. The end users don't want use it.

I have read that the portal with SCSM2012 R2 don't support Sharepoint 2013 and is identical.

I have found :

SCO end user : http://www.eupsco.com/  (free but not enough functions)
Syliance ITSM : http://www.syliance.com (very expensive)

Hi Luc,

Something to note is that Eupsco portal is for Orchestrator to surface Runbooks only. This does not tie directly into Service Manager so you will not be able to take advantage of things like data in the CMDB.

Also there is another company called Gridpro. They have a portal called Webfront by Gridpro. This is for the analysts but keep an eye on them. You never know they might make a end user portal in the future. Here is a link to their site: http://www.gridprosoftware.com/en/

Hi all!

I don't know from where the rumor comes that the Syliance ITSM Portal should be expensive.

It is not for free, but it is a nice looking and solid solution! At least requesting a quote and a trial license is for free. It is very important to mention that the price decreases rapidly with the amount of end users!

Here you can find it: http://www.syliance.com/marketplace/itsm-portal/

Cheers, Patrick

Hi, Luc
I would like to attract your attention to a brand new, modern SCSM 2012 portal, which can replace the factory SelfService surface.
When we have created the Advanced Portal for SCSM 2012, our greatest motivation was to achieve the users highest possible satisfaction in relation to their incident and request management.
The purpose is a clean and fast appearance with mobile device support, too.
The Advanced Portal for SCSM 2012 contains several new and useful features.
A pearl is about to wake up!
