Hello,

We installed SharePoint in our company about 6 months ago and everything has been working pretty good. 

However, we noticed that the Popularity Trends Report is not updating for one  particular subsite. When the report is downloaded "Usage.xslx" it returns 0 in all months. 

The same report in any other subsite has the proper statistics updated. 

Ex: 

http://[sharepointsite]/subsite1  -> popularity trend report/ => returns 0

http://[sharepointsite]/subsite2  -> popularity trend report/ => report correctly updated.

The only difference I noticed between those 2 subsites is that in subsite1, the owner is not using the default user groups.

Is there a subsite configuration that might be preventing the report to update correctly?

Hi  Jorge,

According to your description, my understanding is that the Popularity Trends Report is not updating for  one particular subsite in your SharePoint 2013.

For your issue , please go to your site -> site settings -> go to top level site settings -> site collection features -> make sure the Reporting feature has been activated.

I verified the configuration and it is active. 

This is an example of a subsite that does not track the statistics

This other subsite tracks the statictics correctly. Their url architecture is similar as they both are subsites of the main site.

How about check the site collection health ? You can go to Site Settings -> Site Collection Administration -> Site Collection Health Checks.

The site collection health seems ok. 

The strange thing is why it works correctly in some sites but not in others.

Have you ever figured this out? Popularity Trend showing empty for some subsites? I ran into a similar issue and wondering if you could share your experience. Appreciate any feedback!
