Hi,

If I understand the question is how can we react to perform some actions/workflows automatically when SCOM alerts are received, right? Please, consider using System Center Orchestrator (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh237242.aspx) and System Center Service Manager (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh305220.aspx) and maybe other bits of System Center suite bundle.

The high level approach is described in the article below:

hello,

i have created a monitoring object with some rules. When the threshhold value is met, the SCOM should automatically invoke the particular runbook through connector to perfom some action like increasing disk space, adding new logical disk to VM etc.

Please do the needful

thank you

The reply above has some helpful links as well as an approach to the problem. Try the described solution out, if you have problems with it open a new forums post on the SCORCH forum, as they can help with the workflow/SCORCH items.

hope this helps!
