Performance monitor counters for a memory leak on Windows 2003
We have a memory leak on one of our Windows 2003 servers. What perfmon counters will help me catch it? Would process monitor or process explorer help in some way?

Hello, Do you have any clue which process or program might be "memory leaking"? You may keep an eye in Process Monitor/Process Explorer (can be downloaded here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb545027) to see if any process seems to grow in memory usage over time. If you see a svchost.exe is eating up a lot of memory, then there may be a leak in the system services. And yes, Perfmon can help us. Learn more about memory counters in Perfmon. http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2008/01/25/an-overview-of-troubleshooting-memory-issues.aspx Thanks Zhang
