On Windows Files Servers, I'd like to activate Object access auditing but before doing this, I'd like to know what will be the performance impact on my machine. If course, it depends of the number of accessed files, then I'll say that I activate all Success and Failure access on any objects and that the Security Log is sufficiently sized to cope with logged events. Is there a way to know the overall perf cost of activating these features (other than setting it and see the result ?
