Best solution instead of banging your head is just register again for the hotfix as Vincent said that issue has been fixed.

With all due respect, Vincent is WRONG; the issue is not resolved. I just downloaded the SQL Server 2005 Cumulative Hotfix 7 tonight FOUR TIMES; gave email address every time, and every one has the wrong email address. I've wasted hours. I'm not a happy camper.

Download the patch again and use other email ID and send to it. I had the same issue while downloading cumulative update for SQL server. The password that microsoft gives is the correct one to open the zip file.

Download it again... Provide an alternate email ID. try not to copy the password and manually type the password.
