Partitioning Drive to run Web Server
I want to create a web server and I don't have a spare computer laying around. My current system is a Windows 8.1 OS with a 2TB HD so I'm wondering if I could add a new partition to the drive and use the new partition as a web server? If so, what web server software would you recommend and how difficult is the install process. Thanks.

Why? There's no reason for partitioning a drive, especially if you're planning on using VMs.  If you're planning on using Hyper-V, you don't need partitions, you'd create a VM with it's own VHD file for a c: drive.
