Is there a way to resize a disk partion under Windows 2003 without the losing data ?

Whether you use diskpart.exe or a third party utility you will have to do it off-line. You will need a boot cd with the tool on it.You can boot to a WinPE command prompt using a Vista orServer 2008 setup disk and selecting "repair my computer". Then you can choose "open a command prompt", in which you can use diskpart.If you want to shrink the partition, you will definately need a third party tool. I have used the open source tool gparted. Boot disk images are available on SourceForge.

There is no 100% security of partition software, you'd better backup your important data before resizing partitions.
I used EASEUS Partition Master, it was able to resize my disk partitions, no data loss. You can have a try.

Many partition software can resize 2003 server partition, i don't kown if the

In order to resize system partition on Windows Server 2003, you have to use some partition software. Because there is no resize feature in Disk Management. and Diskpart doesn't support system/boot partition extension.Therefore, You need the most popular
