Parental blocks
I was just wondering if Windows 2000 has any kind of parental block features or if that would be something I'd have to either download or buy.

No, there is nothing built in to Windows 2000 to provide adequate parental controls. I would recommend that you take a look a this free application made by Blue Coat. We run their proxy server appliances on our network and I run this free application on my home systems. It does a very good job to block sites based on the level of protection that you wish to implement on the computer. It also has the ability to block based on the time of day and other factors.
