Hello, This swap file under Windows 9x has been changed to page file (pagefile.sys), under Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. This page file can be easily managed by "SystemProperties, Advanced, Performance (click the Settings button)". Additionally, Memory Manager in later versions of Windows has a better way managing virtual memory than using swap file.
