Outlook 2010 cant geting emails through TMG SERVER

Dear All,

I have recently installed TMG server in my network after configuration basic rules outlook was unable to connect , We using SSL 993 PORT and smtp 465 port. Every thing are working fine except email there is no email server in my network.

Please advise or give some steps to allow ssl ports to ge email.

In the left panel, select Firewall Policy.

Right click, select New | Access Rule.

Name it similar to "Allow Outbound Mail".

Click Next, Allow.

Click Next, Select IMAP4, IMAPS, POP3, POP3S, SMTP, SMTPS.

Click Next, Select Internal and VPN Clients.

Click Next, Select External network.

Click Next for All Users.

Click Finish.

In the left panel, select Firewall Policy.

Name it similar to "Allow Outbound Mail".

Click Next, Allow.

Click Next, Select IMAP4, IMAPS, POP3, POP3S, SMTP, SMTPS.

Click Next, Select Internal and VPN Clients.

Click Next, Select External network.

Click Next for All Users.

Click Finish.

i did added new MS outlook 2010 profile (my gmail account) on Control Panel --> Mail then Test Account settings and the status of incoming mail and sent test email message was completed.

But when i open MS outlook i am still getting error below:

anyone can advise on this?

Thanks for reply, I have follow your steps but still problem is not resolved outlook 2010 is not connecting with tmg.

Can you give the email address so i can send u the screen shots of my rules which i have created.

Please help this is urgent .

Thanks for your reply, From where  i can configure firewall settings for client, I have not find any setting in TMG to allow outlook for client.

Thanks for you reply, I have follow your steps and tested on Virtual system outlook is configured correctly , but on my internal network clients are unable to connect with outlook.

May be there is some internal rules problem. Really i am stuck please help..

Dear Sir,

can any one tell me how to configure edge firewall i have two nic

external nic : internet nic : 192.168.132.134

and internal nic: 10.10.10.1

as i am adding internal nic in internal adapter and choose the edge firewall and proceeding further for network settings and in network settings and in lan setting i add my internal address and in internet setting as i add my external add so i give the error that you had enter two different default gateway you have to proceed further i press ok continue but after configuring and setting the rule in tmg and allow smtp, pop3, imap with smtps, pop3s and imaps  with http and https to internal to external to all user but still i cant send and received my email.

please tell me that i have set right setting for edge firewall and resolve my issue

Create a new rule in TMG / ISA

Select these protocols IMAP4, IMAPS, POP3, POP3S, SMTP, SMTPS.....

Select "Internet AND External" networks for BOTH "Source and Destination" .................. Understood ?

You are done man
