Otlook and profile problem with Roaming profile!
I setup a roaming profile for some users in server 2003.The first question is how the user can open their outlook in each time he log in different computer??And the second question is there any solution to delete the user profile automatically when he log off? I heared abut User Profile Hive Cleanup Service, but it seems that it does not work with vista!!I appreciate your help .

you should take a look here for some good info on roaming profiles with outlook: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402691033.aspx where do you want to delete the profile from? the local machine? if so, look at the policy to delete cached profiles. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274152 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc781862(WS.10).aspx and a warning in there for software distribution assigned to user: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298960 if you just want the user to start with the same profile each time they log on regardless of whether they made changes last time, then look at mandatory profiles. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc786301(WS.10).aspx http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307800 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973289 hth /rich http://cbfive.com/blog

my pleasure. i think i understand that you are just looking to remove the cached copy of the profile. if so, there is a group policy setting for this. check out these articles: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274152 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc781862(WS.10).aspx let me know if i am still misunderstanding. thx /rich http://cbfive.com/blog
