Operating system not found
I changed my CD drive in my desktop computer to a CD/DVD Burner Drive and now when I turn on my computer it says it cannot find the operating system. I guess my CD drive was set up as my master boot device, why is this? and how can I fix it?

Since your computer isn't running a Windows Server operating system and since this isn't a security related question, this isn't the appropriate forum for your question. You need to repost to a more appropriate forum.Paul Adare CTO IdentIT Inc. ILM MVP

I have a feeling that when you connected your new DVD drive you accidentally loosened either the power or the data cable which connects your hard drive to the motherboard. Open your comptuer back up and carefully check both of these cables at both ends to make sure they're secure. Then close it back up and try to boot again.

Hi, This issue is not related to Windows Server. I suggest contacting a computer guy or your local computer store to check your hardware installation. Tim Quan - MSFT
