Environment -Machine1 - Win2003 SP2Machine2 - Win2003 SP2Network - Mix IPV4 & IPV6I amusing API OpenSCManager from Machine1 to browse services of Machine2. If host name (first parameter in the API) is given as IPv4 address, it works fine. If host name is given as IPV6 address, API fails with error code 1722. I tired with both local and global Ipv6 addresses.I am able to ping Machine2 from Machine1 using IPV4 as well as IPv6 addresses.Same environment works fine if remote machine (Machine2)is Vista.
