Only one virtual network visible in ASR

It is me again,

Setup:

  • SCVMM latest RU
  • provider - latest version

I have 10 virtual networks created on SCVMM, all of them are assigned to SCVMM cloud which is configured as source for ASR. When I try to do network mapping - from Azure mgmt portal - I see only one SCVMM network. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this ?

thanks

Are the logical networks for the VM networks added to the clouds that have been published to ASR?

Can you try to change the name of one of the VM networks that doesn't show and see if it starts showing up in ASR portal after few minutes?

I can't rename it, I can only create new one

Small update before I do

Yesterday, I unregistered SCVMM from ASR and registered back and now I can't see any network at all.

NOTE: I have in my lab SCVMM in RU4 and all works fine

cheers

can you share the logs? follow the steps below

logman stop VMM

logman delete VMM

logman create trace VMM -v mmddhhmm -o $env:SystemDrive\VMMlogs\VMMLog_$env:computername.ETL -cnf 01:00:00 -p Microsoft-VirtualMachineManager-Debug -nb 10 250 -bs 16 -max 512

logman start vmm

rename one of the NW which is not showing up.

 logman stop VMM

I am not sure why you can't rename a network. If you can't rename, then create a new network.

new fact

I've created new network in SCVMM and I can see it in network mapping in Azure portal.

What could be the reason I can see only new network only ?

thanks

Without the logs I am making a guess that the VMM event about network creation for older networks either didn't reach ASR or there was some error in processing it. That is why I suggested renaming the network so that ASR gets to know about the network again.

Can you rename the network temporarily and then again rename it back to the original name?

I did it yesterday, and it worked as you described - renamed networks appeared in ASR portal

sounds to me is it s bug in latest SCVMM update

thanks for your help Prateek
