Online - Data Retrieval Failures Occred

Just upgraded Server 2012 to Server 2012 R2 -

In server manager I get "Online - Data retrieval failures occurred"

DC1: Configuration refresh message: The system cannot access one or more event logs because of insufficient access rights, file corruption, or other reasons. For more information see the Operational channel in the ServerManager-ManagmentProvider error log on the target server.

I tried the suggested resolution in the thread below, but the problem still exists:

What I ended up doing is another upgrade. This time an in-place upgrade Server 2012 R2 to Server 2012 R2.

It resolved the issue. Thanks.
