Office 365 Developer Subscription. What Azure items are FREE?

Hi All,

I currently have an Microsoft Office 365 Developer subscription and also have access to Azure. What I would like to know is how many Azure Web Sites do I get for FREE? I thought I get 10 web sites, but I have used up 12 and they are all saying FREE instead of Pay-As-You-Go (as shown in the screen shot below).

Also do I get other Azure items for FREE as an Office 365 Developer user, like Virtual Machines, or SQL Databases?

I hope you can help,
CEStar

Hi,

Thanks for posting your query here!

I you've Office 365 Developer Subscription and is linked to Azure, you would only be able to view the directory and not the other items in the management portal. However, your screen shot shows that you have Pay-As-You-Go Subscription for which there is no limit on hosting apps and Azure free trial has a limit of 10 apps. For more details see this link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn736056.aspx

If you have a Pay-As-You-Go subscription then you should be able to spin up Virtual Machines and create SQL Databases. However you will be charged for the services that you use.

In order to view your current usage information and an estimate of next bill you can download the usage file from management portal. Here are the details: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn736056.aspx

Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you need further help on this!

Best Regards

Sadiqh Ahmed
