Novell and Windows Domain?
Our company aquired a small office. We use Microsoft products (2008 domain and Exchange). The new office uses Novell and Groupwise. I have a user who is working out of both offices and I'd like for him to have only one notebook where can connect to the respective network at each location. I believe I can add an account to Outook for his Groupwise mail, but my question is concerning the pc in general. Can it be joined to a Windows domain and also "connect" or be joinedto the Netware network? I don't know much about Novell. Thanks.

Forgive my Novell ignorance. What will this change do for me? My goal is to join the PC to both a Windows Domain AND Novell. How will the pc logon process work if the pc is configured for both types of enviorments?

You can be logged in to both. Join the PC to the domain. Then in the properties of the Novell client you will be able to specify the windows account to use in addition to the Novell account. You just have to be careful that the user does not get conflicting drive mappings and settings from both the Novell and Windows login scripts. When you go to log in to the PC the Novell client should pop up when you hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Click advanced, go to the Windows tab and you can enter the username/domain information there.
