Hello, When you say join domain, do you mean log in as a domain users or actually join the PC to a domain? If this is the first attempt at logging in as a domain user from that pc/laptop, I would suggest using an ethernet cable first, this is because the laptop's wireless software may not take effect until you have logged in. After that, your cached credentials will get you in then the wireless will connect. Of course, this is only a guess because there is no information to go on here. How are you trying to join the domain? What error do you get? What are the steps you are taking? Are you using the domain's FQDN or Netbios Name to join? Remove the Comcast DNS from DHCP, the client should only be getting the server's IP (I assume the server is static). As Santosh mentioned, Comcast DNS should be in the DNS forwarders. If joining the domain using NetBIOS fails, try the FQDN or vice versa. i.e. Use domain.local or domain to join. What is happening when you try to join? Does it find the domain?
