Not able to save the offiice 2013 if they are having read and write.

Team,

I have given read and write access to users in shared folder, but they are not able to save Excel/Word 2013 documents. tried to update the regedit as below, but the issue persist.

  1. For Excel 2013 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\General
  2. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  3. Type EnableSimpleCopyForSaveToUNC, and then press ENTER.
  4. In the Details pane, right-click EnableSimpleCopyForSaveToUNC, and then click Modify.
  5. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
  6. Exit Registry Editor.

Kindly help.

Use audit to resolve your problem. Remember that Office is known for creating temporary copy of documents.

make sure if you have granted "Delete" permissions. Microsoft Office behavior when saving the file is to delete original file and move content from temporary file to target file.
