Not able to remove view from Maintenance plan
We have a maintenance plan in place for updating the statistics on daily basis. Now, i would like to remove the view from maintenance plan. How can i remove that from Update statistics task?

Open maintenance Plans->Right click Modify. Select the task(Update statistics)->right click ->Edit. Make necessary changes. Once done Click save and you are done

I did try that but i am not able to edit.

We have both tables and view

We have both tables and views for update statistics. But i cant remove one view from the script.

I can only edit either table or view. But, we have both.

i.e Table A, B ,C and View D,E and F.

I would like to remove only View D from above MP.

Also as a suggestion inorder to achieve what you looking for you would need top create multiple update statisitcs task and then add tables first select required ones and then vies in another task and choose desired ones. But the best option will be to script out tsql and create it as a sql agent job and schedule as required.

I would like to remove only View D from above MP.


Why only just one view? In such a standard maintenance task you can not select single object; all or nothing. Create your individual Job to achieve you requirements.
