All the machines under same subnet? Default gateway is same in all machines? Did you try by disabling the firewall/antivirus on both server and client?

Hi, Have you tried ping other servers from the Windows xp machine? or ping Windows XP machine from the server side, could this be successful? If it fails, I think it's a firewall issue. Nobody Can Ping My Computer http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc749323(WS.10).aspx Regards, Cicely

The problem is only with ping or with all services? You mentioned that internet works fine. Is it using local dns or external to resolve internet names? If it is with all services then try to move the computer to some other VLAN or try with some other NIC. I have met the same scenario with one of our computer which is not at all working with a particular VLAN; MAC issue.
