Hi Syed, I forgot to mention that we are able to open applications events from other servers but from this servers alone we are not able to access. This article did not help. Hi Vijesh, This could be caused by corrupted fonts. 1. From another Server 2008 r2 sp1 machine, copy the following fonts from the location – C:\Windows\Fonts Tahoma Segoi UI 2. Copy them to the same location in Problem Machine and replace the old ones Reboot and check the result. If still no luck, reply all fonts. For your reference, please check this similar thread on TechNet. It turned out that the problem was caused by corrupt fonts. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winservermanager/thread/22d9f665-c822-465f-86fc-e11278b6031b Thanks ZHANG

Hi Zhang, We are able to open the System and Security Events from same server. its gives error when we open the Application events. But the same applications events can be opened from other servers. We tried by copying the fonts but still issue persists. Thanks, Vijesh "Cheers ZHANG" wrote in message news:8d6f59ca-0289-469f-ac73-61d07d6dad6c... Hello, It could be possible that some registry entries are corrupt. Imported the registry from a working server. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MMC\SnapIns In addition, such problem occurs due to bad .NetFramework installation. Run the .NET Setup Verifier Utility and check the integrity of all the .NET Frameworks .NET Framework Setup Verification Tool User's Guide http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx Thanks ZHANG
