Hi, > Not able to change the system time in 2008 r2 domain controller even i am administrator of the server > kindly help on this artical. Is this DC encounter time issue? In domain hierarchy, Domain Controller sync time from PDC or any Domain Controller in parent domain. Its not necessary for us to modify time on DC. On this domain controller run below command: Check time source: w32tm /query /source Check time service configuration: w32tm /query /configuration Resync time from source: w32tm /resync To configure a client computer for automatic domain time synchronization: Open a Command Prompt.Type the following command and then press ENTER: w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update Type the following command and then press ENTER: net stop w32time Type the following command and then press ENTER: net start w32time Note: by default, its no need to configure this for a domain joined computer. Check that and give us feedback for further troubleshooting.
