No response for adprep /forestprep
I want to add a 2008 R2 domain controller to a 2008 sp2 domain. Both 2008 sp2 and 2008 R2 are x64. When I run the adprep /forestprep of the 2008 R2 on the 2008sp2 domain controller there is no response and when I press return key the program
just stopped. Please comment.

You are expected to apply adprep with administration account that is entitled to make the schema changes with elevated rights (enterprise administrator).
Must be run on the schema operations master for the forest.
