No performance data available when using the Remote Access MP.

I can see that there are a number of performance collection rules configured and enabled by default in the Remote Access 2012 MP.

But when I try to create a performance detail report and scan the list of available counters in the Remote Access MP nothing shows up.   I tried selecting the rule by searching for the counter name and by eyeballing the list of available counters and nothing shows up.

The Remote Access MP guide lists the performance counters that the MP is supposedly tracking.  So for example "Number of Active Connections" is one of them.  However I can not find this counter either through a name search or scrolling through the list of available counters when attempting to create a performance detail report. 

How do I report on the data the performance collection rules are generating for this MP?
