I no longer have the option when in the Portal to "Design your SQL databae" or "Run Transact SQL queries against your SQL database". They were there but now they no longer appear. Can anyone tell me how to turn this back on?

The manage button that links you to the Azure SQL Database Management Portal (http://yourservername.database.windows.net) is not supported by a V12 Azure SQL Databases. For more info, take a look at the Limitations section of this article:
