Are you able to log in at all? How? When you are using \\server instead of FQDN, you are using NETBios, or WINS. Make sure the Computer Browser service is running. Also, can you login with the local admin account this way? If so, you may have a DNS issue, start with netdiag or dcdiag on the host, and see if it can identify the DC correctly.BlankMonkey

Hi, Please try this steps: 1. Try "\\ip address\C$" 2. Verify that File and print sharing is allowed/enabled at the destination. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=12272 3. Verify that netbios is enabled in your network. Meanwhile, please check the following articles: Can't access server by UNC http://www.techrepublic.com/forum/questions/101-228540/cant-access-server-by-unc Hope this helps! Regards.
