Do any of the developers think that the setting for default email client and newsgroup application could be made separate any time soon, as well as calendar settings also? There are many a good program available which I'd like to use and not be stuck with one and one only. Thanks

Putting it that way will probably not get you any further towards your goal, would you think? Being polite is one of the easiest rules to comply to in this forum.
