Hi All,
I have created affiliated application, then i need to configure new map, while configuring the new map for external user we are getting below issue .
Issue details
you have to update Windows User with this format : Domain\UserName
try to browse it and validate it
I hope this will help you
Hi Vittalaranga,
While mapping the your Windows user to external user, give the windows user with your domain name. In the format as domain/username. You're missing domain name, in "windows user:" text box. Click the browser button next to the text box to resolve the user name with domain name.
If you had given this map in config file, then you can separate the domain and user name as
<?xml version="1.0" ?> <SSO> <mapping> <windowsDomain>fabrikam</windowsDomain> <windowsUserId>UserA</windowsUserId>
Note: fabrikam is a sample domain name. Not an actual one.
For mapping in using the mapping tool, you have to provide the Windows user as "domain/user" format.
Thanks for your reply..
Now i am getting below error..
Both users 000500(from active directory) and Biztalk(created in local machine) are added in below groups.
SSO Affiliate Administrators
SSO Administrators
BizTalk SSO Application Users
BizTalk Server Administrators
BizTalk Application Users
Error:
A mapping could not be created because the specified user is not a member of the Application Users account.
Domain Name: DomainName
User Name: 000500
Application Name: Quad
Application Users: Biztalk
Error Code: 0x80070005, Access is denied.
Hi Aswin,
I have added users(000500 and biztalk) in BizTalk SSO Application Users group and also added BizTalk Application Users group
Hi Aswin,
Thanks for your reply..
Let me explain what i did,
1.Create Affiliated application:
Created affiliated application with below property configuration
Accounts:
Application administrator: Bztalk(local user)
Application user: Biztalk(Local User)
Options:
Enabled,Allow windows intiated SSO and Application users cannot create mapping check boxes are selected, remaining properties are not selected
In New Map:
Windows user: domain\500(from active directory)
External user: domain\500(from active directory)( I tried with Biztalk-local user )
The issue is same, what I posted above.
