New install of SQL Server 2008 for Goldmine CRM, new Windows7pro workstation doesn't see server network...
Goldmine is installed on the server w/ no problem, but my workstation doesn't see the network. It may just be a windows 7 issue, but I'm starting by looking at the way the server network is configured as a possible point of pain before I switch focus. Just wondering if there are any known or common mistakes to look for in the server configuration which might cause the issue. By the way, I have managed to share the goldmine folder & have it show up in the Win7 machine, but the only domain I see is when searching for the network is the workstation, not the server...

Hello, by default the Computer browser service is disabled on Windows server 2008, you have to enable it.
