Hi Experts We have approx 100 Windows server 2008-R2. Just trying to install the SP1 in all servers but did not get any appealing feature that can force me to install SP1. Can you let me know what additional features we will get in Windows Server 2008 R2-SP1. Just wanted to count and analyze those features before installing SP as it takes hours to get install :) Regards Suman B. Singh

service packs are mostly consolidation of hotfixes (including some not puplic released ones). feature wise sp1 brings remotefx and dynamic memory, both related to hyper-v, so unless you use virtualisation, afaik there is no new features in the sp for you

Hello, SP1 will NOT bring additional features, it contains all updates/hotfixes/patches released before the SP. So install it to have all required system updates on the servers.
