New file not always visible in networkmapping folder.
Situation: Fileserver : Windows Server 2008 R2 Client: : Windows 7 Professional / Windows Server 2008 R2 (Terminal Server) When a user creates a new file on a network mapping, the file is not always visible for other users (not always). When they refresh (F5) the network mapping, the file or folder is still not visible. When a user browse through the UNC path to the file or folder, the file or folder is visible, also through the network mapping.

Hi, Generally speaking, if you refresh manually new files and folders should be available. Windows Explorer is unable to update the status of the mapped network drive automatically when being published through RemoteApp http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2508359 Please first test whether this issue exists in Safe Mode with Network; meanwhile, you can use shellexview tool from nirsoft to disable third party Shell extensions. Hi Brent, Thanks for the quick reply! We're not using RemoteApps, the article doesn't apply for this problem. The network mappings are created by GPO. Unfortunately it's very difficult to reproduce this problem, because it's not always occur.
