My customer is planning to implement a new CA infrastructure with an offline standalone root CA and subordinate enterprise CA. They have an existing online enterprise root CA that they want to run in parallel with the new infrastructure until all the existing certs have expired (or they have re-issued with the new CA). The question is whether it is possible to run an enteprise subordinate CA pointing at a standalone offline root CA in an environment that already has an enterprise root CA? If it is possible, will there be any conflicts (with naming for example)?Alexei
