Network setup question
I have a server with dual nics. Currently I have my modem running to my router then running to my server. Would it be better to run nic one directly to the modem and nic 2 running directly to the switch for the network?

Hello, you can connect one of your NICs to one of the local router interfaces and the other one to your private network. Once done, enable RRAS and make sure that your routes are well configured. Hello, a network design should always be: internet > router WAN port > router LAN port > switch > all computers in the network Especially if a Domain controller is used multi-homing is a really bad solution.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
