Network card failover
Hi,
I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 with two network card on different network... and being used as my System Center Operation Manager server
Nic1 - Corporate network
Nic2 - Cellular modem
Right now if I leave both card active at some point the server start using the DNS server of the Cellular modem and lose connection with the internal server for monitoring. Maybe there's a way to make sure the server always use the DNS server from
the local network card.
What I would like to achieve is when the Nic1 lose connection then Nic2 will be used instead... and once the connectivity on Nic1 is back then Nic1 will be used. The Nic2 will only be used in case of issue and to send notification to person on
call.
Thank you for you're help,
Martin
