Hi,We want the ability to define unidentifiednetworks as private rather than public on our Server 2008 machines.We have a dedicated backup connection that is unidentified and is automatcally set to public.In local security policy we have set unidentified network properties to location type private and user permissions to user can change location.The backup connection is still being shown as aunidentified public network. Although you can change it to private when restarted it reverts back to public. How do you change unidentified networks so that they default to private.Thanks.
