Hi:Hope someone has an idea of what might be going on. Running Windows 2003 R2 SP2, if I launch Internet Explorer 7 or open a command prompt and try "ping 127.0.0.1", neither start working for 12 seconds. If I launch Firefox or just do a START | RUN | PING 127.0.0.1, they respond immediately.Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello :I think it might be a DNS problem so try flushing and registering your dns configuration using " Ipconfig /flushdns -- Ipconfig /registerdns "And if it did not worked also try using this free third party application called Ccleaner and repair your damaged regisrty keys and also internet log and temporary files , maybe it will help you , you can downlaod it here :http://www.ccleaner.com/downloadNetwork is my LOVE
